Lechon Loco might be the new kid on the block in Tacoma, but we’re definitely not new to the food game. We’re the sister restaurant to West Hill Deli, a beloved hotspot in Auburn where folks show up hungry and leave in a food coma (the happy kind). Known for our walk-in crowd, corporate catering, and all-day mouthwatering goodness, West Hill Deli built a reputation for big flavors and bigger hearts.
Now, we’re bringing that same magic to 3511 McKinley Ave, Tacoma—but with a twist. Lechon Loco is Filipino-Mexican-American fusion at its finest. Think lechon tacos, ube iced coffee, pasta palabok-style with shrimp, and carne asada so good it’ll make you do the happy dance in the parking lot.

We chose Tacoma’s Eastside—just a stone’s throw from the Port of Tacoma—for a reason. This city is full of heart, flavor, grit, and appetite. We’re here to feed the community, from hungry locals to port workers, from the staff at the nearby Car Museum and Glass Museum to weekend foodies cruising around looking for their next fix.

If our food had a backstory, it would be a culinary origin movie starring Chef Gerold Castro. With decades in the kitchen, Chef Gerold has led luxury hotel restaurants as an Executive Chef at Hilton Hotels, fed NFL giants (yes, the actual Seattle Seahawks), and now? He’s on a mission to bring his Filipino roots, global expertise, and seriously wild flavor fusions to Tacoma’s food scene.
